Transfer of CMC complaints

Our CMC service has now transferred to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS). This transfer resulted from a government announcement that the Financial Conduct Authority would take over regulations of CMCs from 1 April, 2019.

The Claims Management Ombudsman, which is a part of FOS, will now look at complaints about claims management companies. They are a situated in Coventry and will focus on CMC complaints only.

The Claims Management Ombudsman has also employed nine Legal Ombudsman employees who were part of our CMC team.
