The Legal Services Board (LSB) has announced today that its preferred candidate for Chair of the Board of the Office for Legal Complaints (OLC) is Elisabeth Davies.
The OLC Board oversees the work of the Legal Ombudsman and monitors organisational performance amongst other matters. The Chair leads the Board in its duties.
Before she is officially appointed to the role, Elisabeth Davies will need to be confirmed in post by the Justice Select Committee. She will be questioned by them in Parliament on 17 March about her background and experience.
If appointed, she would succeed Wanda Goldwag whose 3-year term of office ends on 31 March 2020.
